It’s been a while, but nevertheless we’d like to share a short recap of our GSOC session with all of you!

On November 19, Christophe van Gysel, Daan Janssens and Glenn de Jonghe organised a tech talk where they presented Google Summer of Code and discussed our experiences.
They gave an overview of the program where they discussed the goals and ideals of the program, followed by an informal question and answer session.

Around thirty university students attended the session, both graduate as undergraduate students. All of them participated actively in the session.
At the end we summarised the talk and received positive feedback.

We were thrilled to see such a great turn-out. We’d like to thank everyone who made Google Summer of Code possible and we hope to see an increased participation rate from the University of Antwerp during the next edition.
